    If anyone needs some advice about planning a trip to Rio De Janiero, let me know.  I was born in Rio but grew up in Boston, therefore, I had to discover it as a tourist.  I've been there countless times and know it as a local with an outsider's perspective.

    As far as places changing their rates, I can't comment on that. But try airbnb.com there are some listings in RIO for under one hundred a night.
