Hi all. Im looking to start working remotely in order to work while traveling early next year.
I've been looking alot at weworkremotely.com to search for jobs but dont really see anything up my alley. Alot of it seems to be programming or just customer service. So im a little worried i may not be "desirable" to employers when job hunting. Could some evaluate my background and help determine some employment possibilities for me? Or maybe point toward some businesses that hire remote technical support people?
I currently work in technical support for a credit card processor. I set up things like credit card processing gateways, set up and deploy credit card terminals (those devices you swipe your card in at the grocery store), over the phone trainings, help customers connect their devices to their network and use remote access tools to troubleshoot pc problems.
Additionally i have the following educational background:
Associates Degree (related to computers)
Comptia A+, Network + and Security + certifications.
Thanks for helping i really want to be traveling this time next year.
