I am a multilingual linguist with a BA in Languages & Linguistics. I speak 6 Languages- English, Mandarin, Spanish, French, American Sign Language and Jamaican Creole. I am currently learning Japanese. I have previously lived in China- in Taiyuan, Shanxi studying Chinese language and culture and teaching children. I currently live in Japan and am teaching ESL to Senior High School Students. While in China, I obtained the HSK & HSKK 5 certificates, I have a 120-hour Professional Master\'s TEFL certificate issued by the accredited Bridge Education Group. I have also achieved teaching students ages 4-6 Spanish from 0 ability to fluency within 1 year, witnessing first-hand the \"linguistic-gap phenomenon\". That was an amazing thing to witness as a novel linguist at the time.
